I took a spin in both the classic Vespa and Fiat 500. The owner, Sebastian, is a true enthusiast and was dedicated to providing the best experience. Excellent communication and logistics throughout the entire process. Top tier vibes all day with classic Italian machinery. And believe it or not, you don't have to an oligarch to afford some quality time in these. It's a small operation doing it right, highly recommend.
We rented Sebastian’s stunning Fiat 500L for 12 hours - and honestly, we loved every single minute of it! The car was spotless, perfectly maintained, and absolutely gorgeous. Cruising through the breathtaking Lake Como region in this little gem makes you feel truly special.
We drove from Como to Cadenabbia, hopped on the ferry (yes, with the car!) to Bellagio, and then made our way back to Como - such a scenic route!

Dolcevita is amazing!! We rented the Fiat 500L. The vehicle was well maintained and ran great for an antique car. The pickup process was easy and after a quick explainer from Sebastian, we were on our way to villas and the sites of Lake Como. A guide to road tripping Lake Como as well as a speaker to play music we're included in our rental. The most incredible part of our rental was Sebastian delivering my passport to the train station after I realized I left it with the car, he arrived in time for me to still catch my train. I would absolutely recommend renting a car or Vespa from Dolcevita.
Best part of our trip. This was an amazing experience and everything went so smoothly. The hosts let us choose from different size high quality helmets, walked us through how the Vespas work, and gave us a full complimentary itinerary. Any questions that I had I was able to text him and get a quick response back. There was plenty of space on the Vespa: a basket, and space under the seat. Would absolutely recommend doing this if you want a unique experience at Lake Como. 10/10!!

Phenomenal trip! Sebastian and Naomi were great and went above and beyond (: It was quick to pick up driving the Vespa, if you’re short just ask for a smaller one. They’re was plenty of spots to eat, scenic views, and lots of gelato! We made It to all the major cities on a 9 hour ride, It was nice that the tour gave you spots around the lake, w links for each-but you got to choose where you too / how long. We had a great day!!! Highly recommend 👍
Sebastian was incredible from start to finish. Before our trip to Lake Como, he spent a lot of time helping us plan a unique route that suited exactly what we were looking for. His effort and attention to detail really showed how much he cares about his customers and his cars. When we arrived, he was just as welcoming and helpful in person. The experience was unforgettable, and it wouldn’t have been the same without him. His cars were immaculate, clearly very well cared for, and a joy to drive. I rented a a beautiful vintage Fiat spider from Sebastian. He was kind enough to drop the car off to us and even arranged for a bouquet of personalised flowers which were absolutely beautiful. The communication, helpfulness's and kindness of the company is far in excess of anything I've received dealing with similar rental companies in the past. I really cannot recommend highly enough!
We took a photo tour with Sebastian at Lake Como and it was incredible from start to finish 🙌🏻 Sebastian picked us up at Lecco at no cost for us (and returned back to Lecco 😁) so we got a free ride on classy car. Before the tour we were offered with a choice of classic Fiat 500 and newly arrived Fiat 124 Spyder. We took the open top 124. The car was spot on, like a true time capsule 🤙🏻 Sebastian also discussed with us all the tour details provided his advice on time and everything. We took photos at several locations each of which were beautiful and unique. Finally we got amazing photos and some reals edited in two different styles. The tour went in very friendly and relaxed atmosphere as Seb is an amazing person to deal with! We can’t thank him enough! Truly the best experience we have during our EuroTrip. We look forward to coming back to Como and renting Fiat 500 or some Vespa bikes with Sebastian 🤝
Me and my boyfriend had the most amazing time! Everything was organised by Sebastian and he was incredibly kind to us both and very helpful. My boyfriend felt slightly uneasy on the vespa as he had ridden one before but it wasn’t very busy streets (as it was quiet within Greece) this was no issue with the vespa it was perfect it just wasn’t the fit for us in the end with traffic and confidence etc, we had an hour out of our time before wanting to stop and Sebastian was kind enough to drive us both in his fiat 124 spider which is such a gorgeous car and experience, waited for us at the villa we were visiting and drove us back, as we didn’t use our full booking. We both appreciated this so much as we could still make our reservation and also have the opportunity for a new experience! Sebastian also took lovely pictures for us and was overall very attentive to our experience and kind, we couldn’t of had a better time and are very grateful 🙂 we both highly recommend booking with him and although we didn’t use all our time on the vespas as we were nervous, it drove perfectly, was in perfect condition and very easy to get used too, we were just cautious of other vehicles and driving on the opposite side of the road as we 19 and from England and do it all backwards at home, we haven’t had the time (age for license) to have experience driving in busy streets on a bike rather than a car. we had the best experiences here in lake como because of Sebastian and won’t forget that 🙂
We were in the Lake Como area and wanted to experience the feel of getting around in vintage Fiat's. One of the people in our group found this group and the owner, Sebastian. Sebastian was very good in his correspondence, detail and instructions. I highly recommend you use his company for your experience.
In our experience, we opted for a guided tour for our group. So, we rented 2 Fiat's, one manufactured in 1970 and the other a 1971. We had 7 adults in our group. So, we split up with 3 in each Fiat, and the 7th went with Sebastian in his 1979 Spyder. We designated two(2) drivers for the entire day. Driving in Como or Italy is not for the faint of heart. If you've driven in Europe or any other foreign country before you should not have an issue. If this is your first time, exercise extreme caution and knowing how to drive a standard or clutch car is a MUST !
We started and ended our adventure by the Como Borghi station. We went as far as Brienno, before turning back to get the cars back on time. Sebastian stopped a various places for sightseeing and/or restrooms breaks. We enjoyed a picturesque lunch. As far as driving, plan on have plenty of patience. Plenty of start and stop from hilly positions and knowing Sebastian has the cars in tip top shape.
These cars are vintage, so cars are about 6ft long and 4 ft wide, NO Air Conditioning, but there is a sun roof, the wing and door windows work, and if the day is nice, in temperature you will have a fantastic experience. Sorry, I did not have any driving photos or videos to post given I was one of the drivers. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I would encourage you to use Sebastian and his business. I have the utmost confidence that you will not be disappointed in his service or the quality of the cars. Sebastian also is seasoned and speaks a few languages. I hope that your experience is as good or better than mine.
Surprised my husband by renting the Automatic Fiat 124 Spyder ☺️. It was waiting for us upon arrival to our hotel - SO convenient. The car itself was IMMACULATE inside and out and according to my husband “drove like a dream!” This was our first time to Como and it was this rental that really made us fall in love with the area. Sebastian was so kind with answering my MANY questions (I am not a car person) and went above and beyond giving us recommendations for routes, things to see, and places to eat. Best thing we’ve done in Italy so far. Would recommend to anyone!!
Had an unbelievable time! Rented the Fiat 500L for the day and it was incredible. Pick up was very easy and I had communication throughout and was even met at the petrol station at the end of my booking to help me fill it up. The car was quite simple to drive and the explanation on the car at the beginning really helped. Definitely the best experience I could have asked for!

Cruising around Lake Como in a beautifully restored vintage convertible was incredible and a great experience. Sebastian was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared stories about the area. The route was scenic and well-paced, with stops at the iconic villas. It’s the perfect mix of history, luxury, and local charm-and hands down the best way to get around Lake Como. I'm doing a pan-europe trip, rented porsche 911s, ferraris, and currently driving an M8 as a rental. With all cars I rented on this trip, dolcevita classics wins hands down. What an experience!!! I have travelled in many countries, doing many things, but nothing compares to driving a classic Fiat 500 around Lake Como... The scenery is magical and the car is a piece of art! It drives very smoothly and looks very elegant with its beige interior. Renting the car was the best decision I made to go around Lake Como. It’s a very comfortable drive and not to mention makes for a great way to get around the narrow streets. I was able to visit a small vista point in Nesso with a waterfall and an amazing view of the lake. My gracious guide, Sebastian, then drove us to Bellagio and Verenna. Sebastian is a great resource as well for what to do around the area and if you are planning to visit Lake Como, you must rent this amazing car with Dolcevita Classics. Make sure to book in advance.
